Inventor & CEO
Portable Farms
Colle Davis
Colle Davis, the inventor of the Portable FarmTM, majored in the field of Renewable Natural Resources in 1972, at the University of California at Davis, and he's been refining Portable FarmsTM for the past 37 years.
After a career as a successful entrepreneur, businessman and consultant, Colle made the time to continue his research to reduce the chronic problems of tank sediment and he discovered a new pumping system that solved all the clogging problems in the fish tank and made it possible for the system to automatically remove the sediments from the fish tank without clogging the pump to grow healthier fish and vegetables. This new system made it possible to fully automate the farm using his own unique engineering, so that anyone, anywhere, could raise their own food.
Portable FarmsTM has been through many, many iterations and improvements over the years, and Colle and his wife, Phyllis, have four Portable FarmsTM on their small two-acre farm, in Escondido, California, located 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. They enjoy all the organic table vegetables, berries, tomatoes, and fish they can possibly eat, with enough surplus left over to feed organic vegetables every day to 50 people, plus one serving of fish per week, per person, year round. The Davis' offer daily tours of their Portable FarmsTM and people travel from all over the world to see them.
Colle Davis has been a world-famous Executive Coach, mentor and trusted advisor to top-level management in American Business for more than twenty-five years. Mr. Davis speaks and trains executives in companies and organizations on the topics of diplomacy skills and effective communications in business today, as well as within governments.
His clients and corporate leaders appreciate his no-nonsense practical style that gets them to their goals. His clients have called him their 'secret weapon' in gaining competitive advantages. As much as he enjoys being an Executive Coach, his lifelong passion has always been to reduce the impact of human activity on the earth, which inspired him to become the inventor of Portable FarmsTM.
With the growing concern for world hunger and poverty, Colle's commitment deepened to his lifelong goal of breaking the cycle of poverty and feeding the 12.6 percent of the world's population that are literally starving to death from Protein-energy malnutrition (PEM).
"Sometimes, all it takes is one simple idea that leads to other ideas and then on to other answers... it is in that collaboration that people will solve the problems of the world. But first, let's feed people and give them a livelihood instead of a handout. Then after that, let's do it again and again and again."

Brad Grant
Brad Grant misses the days when he was raised on a farm in Colorado, where his family always had garden-fresh food available. He has spent most of his adult life (15 years) working for Taylor Guitars in El Cajon, CA, and is an expert at guitar set-up and maintenance. During this time he taught beginner guitar lessons on a volunteer basis and also worked with several youth groups in the San Diego area.
In May 2007 Brad began studying several of the many facets that make up Renewable Energy through Solar Energy International (SEI), based in Carbondale, CO. During this time he attended classes, workshops and hands-on building projects including Solar, Residential Wind, Micro-Hydro, and Sustainable Home Design.
In order to help developing nations food and energy problems, Brad participated in two workshops at Renewable Energy for the Developing World through SEI in Nicaragua, and at an organic farm near Rio Muchacho, Ecuador. During the time in Nicaragua he stayed with local families in the remote community of Totogalpa and worked alongside "Mujeres Solares De Totogalpa," or, "Women's Solar of Totogalpa," building solar ovens for families in the area and also installed solar electricity for the community center. In Rio Muchacho, Brad aided with the installation of a bio-digester that produces methane to fuel the kitchen stove, while the effluent fertilizes the garden; he also learned permaculture farming practices and installed a small solar array to light several cabanas on the farm grounds.
Brad comes to the Portable-Farm family because of his belief that we need to return to a more sustainable way of life, and growing our own food is a great place to begin. He is forwarding the progress for Revolution Farms to act as a means of educating and providing others with sustainable living solutions.

George Pullen
George Pullen has been a resident of San Diego all his life. He was an auto mechanic for over 15 years, and is a former competitive runner and trainer.
These days, bronze sculpture and mechanical tinkering occupy a good part of his creative energies. George also spends his time studying and exploring green living, writing children's books and working on a couple screenplays. You'll always find him accompanied by his two beautiful dogs, Meleiwa and Yeni.
Known locally for his incredible endurance, he prefers to travel as often as he can by riding his bicycle long distances, or running. His work ethic and creativity often leave people to envy, but he always remains humble (which is why he didn't write his bio).
